Skin & Mole Check

Home » Services » Skin & Mole Check

Skin cancer can occur when skin cells are damaged, for example, by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Consult your doctor if you notice a new lesion or any change in shape, colour or size of an existing lesion. Patients who have had a skin cancer removed in the past should continue to have regular skin checks with their GP.

The doctors at Glen Iris Medical Group can perform routine annual skin checks including photographic documentation of lesions that require monitoring. They may biopsy or remove a skin lesion if appropriate.
