Glen Iris Medical Group last reviewed fees in 2016. Due to the Government policy of a Medicare rebate freeze until 2020, most medical practices have no option but to raise fees in line with the rising costs of running a medical practice. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please discuss this with your Doctor.
From the 1st September 2018 our fees are:-
A standard consultation is $95 (Medicare rebate $38.20).
A long consultation is $180 (Medicare rebate $73.95).
A prolonged consultation > 40 minutes is $250.00 (Medicare rebate $108.85).
There may be a $25 fee for all prescriptions, re-referrals and other administrative services without an appointment or your doctor may call you for a telephone consult.
